Reds vs. Brewers
in 14h

I'm backing the Reds on Monday. Milwaukee has lost three in a row and is 3-8 at home this season while the Reds are 5-1 on the road and come off a 7-5 win over John Lackey and the Cubs. Amir Garrett has allowed only four runs and three walks while striking out 21 his first three starts covering 19 2/3 innings.  He took a tough loss last time out as Baltimore won 2-0 in spite of Garrett's 12 strikeouts.  Matt Garza will make his first start since coming off the disabled list due to a groin strain.  Garza was 0-2 with a 4.35 ERA in two games against Cincinnati last year.  Eugenio Suarez has been hot for the Reds as he's hitting .371 and was 6-for-11 against the Cubs with two home runs.  Suarez is batting .444 in nine at-bats against Garza.  We expect more of the same and recommend a play on Cincinnati on Monday.  Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.

Braves vs Phillies

I'm backing the Phillies on Sunday. Atlanta lost its fifth in a row and now is 2-8 on the road after its 4-3 10-inning loss to the Phillies on Saturday.  Mike Foltynewicz has a 6.00 ERA against Philadelphia the last three years and in two games at Citizens Bank Park he has allowed seven runs and 12 hits in just 7 2/3 innings. Foltynewicz has walked seven batters in 12 2/3 innings this season and the Braves have lost both of his starts.  The young Phillies have won three straight and Zach Eflin allowed two runs in five innings in his first start of the season against the Mets.  Eflin faced Atlanta once in 2016 and pitched a complete game allowing one run and six hits.  The Braves have lost 13 of Foltynewicz's last 19 road starts. We're recommending a play on the Phillies on Sunday.  Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.

Mariners vs A's

I'm backing the Oakland A's, our Afternoon Annihilator on Sunday. Oakland has won five straight and Seattle has lost three in a row and the Mariners are 1-9 on the road after Saturday's 4-3 win by the Athletics. Yovani Gallardo is off to a terrible start allowing 11 runs and 24 hits in 16 innings for a 6.19 ERA.  Seattle has been outscored 20-6 in his three outings and Gallardo is 0-4 with a 4.82 ERA against the Athletics the last three years.  Meanwhile, Andrew Triggs still hasn't given up an earned run this season in 17 2/3 innings and he has nine strikeouts and just four walks allowed. Triggs has been the winner in all three of his starts, including a 4-2 win against Texas on Tuesday. Seattle is 29th in the majors with a .195 batting average on the road.  I'm backing the Oakland A's, our Afternoon Annihilator.  Thanks & GL!  Scott Spreitzer.

Rockets vs Thunder
+1½ -110 at Bovada
Play Type: Top Premium

I'm backing the Houston Rockets plus the short points on Sunday afternoon.  Houston had a horrible night from the deep perimeter in their game-3 loss, making just 10 of 35 3-pointers, while OKC shot 55.4% overall and over 47% from behind the arc.  All that yet OKC only won by a bucket.  Houston still drove the paint and drew more fouls and we expect more of the same tonight. However, OKC shouldn't expect another bad shooting night from the Rockets. Houston finished 2nd in the NBA in offensive efficiency this season.  And while the Thunder are on a 1-5 ATS slide against teams playing better than .600 basketball on the season, the Rockets will aim for their 7th straight cover at OKC.  Houston is a perfect 7-0 ATS on the road in revenge, provided the opponent scored at least 110 points in the previous meeting.  They're also 13-4 ATS on the road this season when the line is in the +3/-3 range.  I'm backing the Rockets plus the short points, my Beatdown on Sunday.  Thanks & GL!  Scott Spreitzer.
